Es ist am 3. und 4. Oktober in der Panasastra University am Norodom Boulevard.<br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wanhoff\/3787103603\/\" title=\"mini barcamp phnom penh by thomaswanhoff, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3499\/3787103603_271326a9a0_m.jpg\" width=\"160\" height=\"240\" alt=\"mini barcamp phnom penh\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nDas Geekup ist ein w\u00c3\u00b6chentliches Meeting, bei dem es um Technologythemen geht: Wer immer was sagen m\u00c3\u00b6chte, hat 15 Minuten, einen Projektor und einen Internet-Laptop. Ich habe \u00c3\u00bcber Google Apps Premium Edition gesprochen. Interessant fand ich aber auch den Vortrag \u00c3\u00bcber Prezi und den \u00c3\u00bcber GeoChat, ein netter kleiner SMS-Group-Chat.<\/p>\n<p>Themen bisher waren:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>    *  Chatra Be and Virak are introducing more than 20 participants about upcoming evening BarCamp Phnom Penh 2.<\/p>\n<p>    * Samnang discusses the advantage of Agile, a group of software development methodologies\u00e2\u20ac\u201chis practical experience in the Cambodian market.<\/p>\n<p>    * Open Solaris talk now by Paul Harper.<\/p>\n<p>    * Cambodia\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s oldest newspaper The Phnom Penh Post and Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia use Twitter to provide news updates.<\/p>\n<p>    * Mony, one of the participants, responds that she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s got a Twitter account, but has never used Twitter at all.<br \/>\n    * Mobile application development topic now\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n<p>    * Cambodia\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s prominent blogger Sopheap Chak is talking about her life experience in Japan, where she does her master degree.<br \/>\n    * To register a domain name with its country-code is not a choice for Cambodians and businesses in Cambodia for it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s too expensive.<\/p>\n<p>    * Norbert looked into the country-code top-level domains (ccTLD). .KH for Cambodia, not .CA or .CM.<br \/>\n    * Norbert Klein, who intro Email communication system to Cambodia, is giving an intro to Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.<\/p>\n<p>    * Agile, Twitter, Open Solaris, Mobile application development, ICANN (Norbert Klein), Life in Japan (Sopheap Chak) are among the talk today.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Das soll einmal zeigen, wie weit vorn die IT-Community in Kambodscha ist. Ich w\u00c3\u00bcrde fast sagen weiter als Vietnam, zumindest was die Offenheit und Bereitschaft, sich auszutauschen ist. Man schauen sich auf der Barcamp-Website nur das Protokoll des Livebloggings an, das Tharum geschrieben hat. Wahnsinn. Kambodscha ist was solche Veranstaltungen angeht auf Augenh\u00c3\u00b6he mit dem Rest der Welt. Aber das habe ich ja schon 2007 gesagt, als ich beim Cloggersummit war (Cambodian Blogger).<\/p>\n<p>Freue mich auf jeden Fall auf Oktober.
