Er hat einst eine der besten Präsentationen am Webmontag abgeliefert und war schon früh einer meiner absoluten Geheimtipps in Sachen Web 2.0: Rany hat aus Fleavant jetzt eine Company gemacht und seinen Job geschmissen. Neulich klang das noch ganz anders, aber wir haben eben alle unsere kleinen Geheimnisse.

Fleavent ist ein kollaborativer Veranstaltungskalender (oder soll es werden). Rany bestalt schon eine Weile daran rum.

I’ll be spending the next 6-8 weeks getting the groundwork in place, and then i’ll be able to work 100% on my own stuff. woohoo!

my company is building a kick ass events community. there’s nothing out there that satisfys my needs, and so much potential in what could be done. that’s it.

i’m really excited to finally be starting up. i spent the past year pretty much pouring my energies into sombody else’s bucket (i’ll be talking about some of that at railsconf europe), and now it’s my own turn!
